Education

  • Graduated from McNary High School in 1984.

  • Graduated with a BS in Education from Oregon State in 1989.

  • Graduated with a Masters degree from Western Oregon State in 1993.

Teaching Experience

  • Mr. Hauser did his student teaching at Canby High school in the fall of 1989.  He was hired full time that winter and has been teaching matheamtics at CHS since that time.

  • Mr. Hauser coached the freshman baskeball team at CHS for 12 years.  He retired from that great experience in 2002 to go on to coach his two sons on various teams at North Marion, retiring from that in 2016.

 

  • Mr. Hauser has also taught various on-line math courses for the CHS summer school program for over ten years.

Family

  • Mr. Hauser married his wonderful wife Cheryl in 1990.  She is a substitute elementary teacher in the North Marion School district.  We have two awesome boys, Josh and Jared.

  • Josh is a recent graduate of Grand Canyon University.  He is an assistant director of communications for the athletic department at GCU.  He works with the mens soccer, basketball and baseball teams.

  • Jared is a senior at North Marion.  He loves to play basketball and baseball for NMHS and enjoys watching all other sports.

  • Radar is our awesome 12 year old border terrier/schnauzer mix dog.

Hobbies/Interests

  • Mr. Hauser like to be active in his old age.  He plays baketball 3 days a week during the school year with other staff and community members.  He also pitches for an adult league softball team in Woodburn.

  • Mr. Hauser enjoys going on hikes with his family and dog.

  • Mr. Hauser enjoys helping out in various ways at Mid Valley Community church.

  • Mr. Hauser is a huge Blazer, Seahawk and Beaver fan!
